The Kansas City Chiefs are coming into their second season with Cairo Santos, Dustin Colquitt, and James Winchester as the specialists. It was a bit of a surprising scenario in that the Chiefs did not bring in any competition for this group.
No Surprises: None here at all. The Chiefs didn’t bring in any competition for their three primary Special Teams members. That is some quality job security when the team isn’t even entertaining the idea of replacing you. It speaks to how the Chiefs feel about their Special Teams group.
Chiefs Show No Worries: Hard to say the Chiefs have any needs with this group when they don’t bring in any competition. That is just as strong a statement as could possibly be made. Hopefully this move turns out to be warranted.
