KC Chiefs: Five Potential Landing Spots for Aaron Murray
The KC Chiefs probably won’t be keeping Aaron Murray on their roster come regular season. Where are some places that the former fifth round pick could end up?
The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Aaron Murray out of Georgia in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Murray has yet to take a regular season snap with the KC Chiefs, and he’s definitely had opportunities to pass Tyler Bray on the depth chart this preseason.
Unfortunately for Murray, things aren’t looking good as far as his future with the team. He played in every game this preseason and went 10 of 18 for 108 yards on Thursday night, but threw two interceptions.
It’s been reported that the team was looking to trade the former Bulldog, but later, Andy Reid mentioned that Thursday night’s preseason game would be headlined by Bray, Murray, and rookie Kevin Hogan.
Where are some other teams that Murray could wind up? Let’s take a look.
(Note: These are teams that need an extra quarterback on deck. No teams that we know of have reached out to the Chiefs about Murray yet)
