  • Stubbefield was a first round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1993 NFL Draft and went on to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award in 1993.

Stubblefield spent 11 seasons in the pros, seven of which were with San Francisco. He spent three years with Washington and one with Oakland as well.

Throughout his 11-year career, Stubblefield racked up 352 tackles, 53.5 sacks, and two interceptions. He started at least 14 games in all but two seasons during this time as well, proving he was reliable on game day.

Stubblefield earned a Super Bowl ring in only his second season in the pros and was also a three-time Pro Bowler for the Niners. He’s still one of the best Jayhawks to play in the NFL.
