The Kansas City Chiefs played their “dress rehearsal” preseason game this week, clobbering the Bears 23-7.  KC looked to be absolutely dominant this week.

The Kansas City Chiefs have high expectations for the 2016 NFL season.  Those expectations were highlighted this weekend against the Chicago Bears, as the Chiefs put on a dominant display.  The Chiefs beat the Bears in every facet of the game, and put together the best wire to wire performance of the preseason.

The NFL preseason is always a bit enigmatic when it comes to predicting regular season success.  However, with the performance Kansas City put on against the Bears, Chiefs fans can’t help but feel a bit of confidence.  The Chiefs looked to be strong in almost every facet of the game.

What encouraged me the most however, was that I saw answers to nearly every question I had for the Chiefs coming into the season.  With only a few hiccups or uncertainties remaining, it is becoming a bit of a chore for me to remain skeptical.

That doesn’t mean there weren’t at least a couple areas for the Chiefs to improve on.  I still have some concerns, but they are largely calmed at this point.  Quite frankly folks, I believe this Kansas City Chiefs team is the absolute best I have seen since the Joe Montana days…and you wouldn’t have to work hard to convince me this team is better.  So what did I see this weekend?
