Tyreek Hill

When the Kansas City Chiefs selected Tyreek Hill in this year’s draft, there was an almost instant explosion of disgust from Chiefs Kingdom (read more on that here).  Hill’s offseason issues surrounding a domestic assault incident drew outrage from many.  That sentiment has largely abated recently though as Hill has kept his nose clean off the field, said all the right things in front of cameras, and has been absolutely explosive on the field.

Tyreek Hill figures to factor into the Chiefs kick and punt return roles fairly quickly, but he has also shown more than that.  Hill has already demonstrated an ability to run pass patterns expected of wide receivers, and to use his explosiveness to generate big plays.  The ability to contribute to the offense makes Hill more versatile and valuable as a weapon.

Hill will certainly find a spot on the Chiefs roster in 2016.  As a return specialist, Hill puts the pressure on Frankie Hammond, DeAnthony Thomas, and Knile Davis to step up.  Already we have heard trade rumors surrounding Thomas and Davis.  Hammond, meanwhile, has been at the edge of the roster for a couple years now.
