Fantasy Football Top 15 Deep Sleepers for 2016 – Number 14: Christine Michael

The Seattle Seahawks run the football a lot. That’s not news to anyone. This season they will be without Marshawn Lynch. Lynch hung the cleats up after the need of last season. He’s on his way somewhere entering “retired mode”.

Lynch’s retirement gives other guys a chance to step up and show off in the Seattle backfield. Thomas Rawls is said to be the Seahawks number one running back coming into the 2016 season. The only problem here is, he’s injured. Rawls broke his ankle last season. The recovery process has been lengthy.

Rawls won’t play in the Seahawks third preseason game. He should be able to play come game one of the regular season but if a setback occurs, Christine Michael is ready to fill in.

Michael has all the physical skills be a productive and possibly a stud running back.  The problem for him has been his maturity level.

Here‘s what Michael looks like on film during the preseason this year.

If he can keep his emotions in check and can continue to develop his talents as a runner, he could be a stud running back sooner rather than later.
