Fantasy Football Top 15 Deep Sleepers for 2016 – Number Five: Zach Miller

The Chicago Bears tight end, Zach Miller, will get an expanded role this season. Martellus Bennett is no longer with the Bears leaving a huge hole to be filled. I believe the tight end spot will be primarily Miller’s this year.

Miller played for Chicago last year so the team knows what they have in him. He also knows the system already. The best thing for fantasy owners is his nose for the end zone. In limited playing time last season, Miller hauled in five touchdown passes on 34 receptions. That’s not bad.

He also racked up 439 receiving yards. The best news is, his target totals went up as the season came to an end. In the last three games Miller received 20 targets. That’s almost six per game. Unfortunately, he hauled in just one touchdown during the stretch.

Expect Miller to take over the number one tight end spot and get a few touchdowns this season for the Bears and hopefully your fantasy football team as well.
