Fantasy Football Rookies Number Seven: Corey Coleman

Wide Receiver – Cleveland Browns

Top Rookie Wide Receiver?:  Pro Football Focus rated Corey Coleman as their top wide receiver prospect for the 2016 NFL Draft.  I can’t say I see it the same way, but I do see Coleman’s talent.  He can be a starting wide receiver in the NFL and a rebuilding Browns team should give him the opportunity.

Josh Gordon’s Return:  The Browns will get wide receiver Josh Gordon back this season.  Gordon will be playing for both his redemption and his next contract.  That means you can expect him to step up his game, which will take targets away from the rest of the receiving options.

Draft Value – Thirteenth Round:  Coleman looks like a good player, but there is a lot of instability in Cleveland and his talent may be lost in the commotion.  He is relying on a team with a new offensive line, quarterback, and other weapons.  It may be tough for him to get going, but grab him late anyways.  The upside is worth the investment.
