Fantasy Football Wide Receivers – Number 8: DeAndre Hopkins

2015 Stats: 111 REC 1,521 YDS 11 TDS

DeAndre Hopkins has proved over the last three seasons to be a top tier wide receiver in the NFL. The fact that Hopkins still put up high numbers through four different quarterbacks is the amazing stat here and one that shouldn’t be overlooked when it comes to adding him to your fantasy squad.

Hopkins caught passes from Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett, T.J Yates, and Brandon Weeden last season, and none of those guys should even be mentioned in a fantasy football post. This is a telling factor in Hopkins’ production and is definitely why he’ll be a first rounder in most drafts.

With 111 receptions and 1,521 yards last season, Hopkins proved he doesn’t need a great quarterback to prevail.

With that all said, new quarterback Brock Osweiler is still learning the system. His first preseason game was not too great, but Hopkins will be more than willing to help the kid out and the two should be able to get on the same page rather quickly.
