Fantasy Football Wide Receivers – Number 2: Julio Jones
2015 Stats: 136 REC 1,871 YDS 8 TDS
A lot has changed since the year 2011, but one thing has remained the same: Julio Jones is a phenomenal wide receiver in the NFL.
If you like consistency, Julio Jones is your guy. Ranking first in total receiving yards last season, Jones is bound to make a big receiving play in every game. No matter the defender, Jones can put up points and he’s easily a first rounder for your team this year. He averaged close to ten catches a game last season.
Jones is the type of wide receiver that you KNOW is going to keep your team in contention. While Matt Ryan’s production has dropped off a bit in recent years, he’s never failed to get Jones the football and that’s why Jones is a can’t miss pick for your team.
The Falcons really aren’t going anywhere this season (at least I don’t think they will be), but Jones is the shining star for Atlanta. He’ll make them relevant every week, just on his own.
Draft him if you can.
