Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill’s role with the Chiefs is an easy one. The guy is here to return punts due to his blazing speed, and he appears to be a favorite target of Alex Smith early on as well.

Hill has seen time with the first-team offense, which is impressive considering he was a fifth round pick and out of a smaller school. Smith threw his way multiple times during the team’s first preseason game, and Hill impressed everyone with his speed.

The selection of Hill showed that the Chiefs very well could be ready to move on from De’Anthony Thomas, who was a similar type of player for the team. Hill probably isn’t going anywhere, so that would leave Thomas as the odd man out.

The Chiefs will use Hill’s speed to their advantage, and it’ll be interesting to see if the kid can make plays on special teams this season. He’s one of the few players who’s role we are certain of… or almost certain of, at least.
