Kansas City Chiefs: Best Roster In The AFC West?
By Ben Almquist
Tight End
Denver Broncos – Jeff Heuerman: Heuerman has done absolutely nothing in the NFL. His lone season ended before it began with an ACL injury. That means you are talking about a guy with no experience and already one major injury in his career. That’s not something to crow about. Rank: 4th
Kansas City Chiefs – Travis Kelce: Travis Kelce became one of the preeminent tight ends in the NFL last year with a phenomenal season. He is in an elite class of players at the position who possess that kind of size, strength, and athleticism. He is a phenomenal weapon in the receiving game, and very entertaining in the end zone. Rank: 1st
Oakland Raiders – Clive Walford: Walford’s debut season wasn’t nearly as strong as Raiders fans had hoped for, but he did flash some talent. He needs to become more consistent and refine his technique in order to become a quality starting tight end in the NFL Rank: 3rd
San Diego Chargers – Antonio Gates: Simply put, Father Time eventually wins. Antonio Gates is still an incredible athlete, and Philip Rivers’ most reliable target. However, he isn’t the same physcially dominant player he once was. After a long run as the best in the conference, the torch is finally passed. Rank: 2nd
