Running Back

Denver Broncos – CJ Anderson/Ronnie Hillman:  I’ve heard a lot of talk about the potential of CJ Anderson.  However, it has not yet taken form as Anderson still is not a feature back.  He continues to split carries, and that’s more than enough to keep him down on the list.  Ronnie Hillman has better career production, but the Broncos have dropped him behind Anderson.  There also isn’t much receiving threat from these two.  Rank: 2nd

Kansas City Chiefs – Jamaal Charles/Charcandrick West:  Yeah, so this isn’t really much of a challenge.  The Chiefs easily have the top running back group.  Jamaal Charles alone is better than the rest of the division and you can make an argument that West is the second best.  No other group can match the Chiefs as receivers either.  Chiefs run away with this one.  Rank: 1st

Oakland Raiders – Latavius Murray/Taiwan Jones:  Latavius Murray is a 1000 yard back, which puts him with Jamaal Charles as the only backs on this list to achieve that mark.  However, there isn’t much behind him on this roster.  Raiders fans are excited about some of the young potential, but those players still have to be proven on the field.  Rank: 3rd

San Diego Chargers – Melvin Gordon/Danny Woodhead:  This is a bit of a dumpster fire.  Melvin Gordon was a complete bust in his first season, failing to score a single touchdown.  When you factor in receiving, his backup Danny Woodhead is actually the better player.  However, Woodhead isn’t the guy you want taking handoffs on a regular basis.  Rank: 4th

Total Points – DEN: 4  KC: 6  OAK: 5  SD: 5
