Offense

Quarterback

Denver Broncos – Mark Sanchez:  There is no spinning this Broncos fans, you have Mark “Butt Fumble” Sanchez under center right now.  It’s the result of circumstances.  Peyton Manning finally hit the physical wall, and Brock Osweiler felt disrespected by the organization.  The end result was no starting quarterback on the roster in a terrible year to need to find a new one.  Paxton Lynch may be the future, but that doesn’t help today.  Rank: 4th

Kansas City Chiefs – Alex Smith:  Nobody is going to accuse Alex Smith of being a superstar, top tier, quarterback.  However, he is a solid and reliable man to have under center, and has helped lead the Chiefs to three straight winning seasons and their first playoff win in forever.  Rank: 3rd

Oakland Raiders – Derek Carr:  The Raiders are excited about the future with Derek Carr, and with good reason.  The young guy from Fresno State looks the part of an elite NFL quarterback and the early returns have been very good.  Eventually, he should be one of the best in the league at that position.  Rank: 2nd

San Diego Chargers – Phillip Rivers:  With the exception of a few years with Peyton Manning, the title of best quarterback in the AFC West has easily belonged to Phillip Rivers.  Rivers is one of the elite players at the most important position in football.  He consistently posts excellent numbers every season, regardless of whatever else is on the roster.  Rank: 1st

Total Points – DEN: 1  KC: 2  OAK: 3  SD: 4
