2016 Fantasy Football Quarterbacks: Number Two – Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is really, really good at this quarterbacking thing. Despite a banged up and struggling receiving corps last year, Rodgers was still one of the top Fantasy Football quarterbacks in the league. The Packers should be improved on the offensive side of the ball this year, and that means expect huge numbers from Rodgers.

Everyone Back Healthy. Losing Jordy Nelson last year was a huge blow to Aaron Rodgers.  With his favorite target back and healthy, expect Rodgers to be much more comfortable with his options and a bit more willing to sling the ball down the field.

Back Up Plans? The big question with the Packers offense is the same as last year…do they have any depth?  The Packers fell apart as a unit when Jordy Nelson went down in 2015 and it is foolish to just assume that they won’t have any injuries this year.  If they lose a key player for an extended period of time, can they give Rodgers another viable option?

Draft Value – 1st/2nd Round: There are only a couple of quarterbacks that fantasy players look to own in the first round, and Aaron Rodgers is one of them.  He’s going to be a productive player, so don’t hesitate on grabbing him if you want him on your team…he won’t be available later unless you’re picking at the back end of the first round in a snake draft.
