Biggest Trap Games for the Chiefs – Number 5: San Diego Chargers

This one could be considered a stretch, as Kansas City and San Diego will square off twice this year, as they do every year. That obviously improves the chances for San Diego to at least knock the Chiefs off once.

The Chargers have gone 0-4 against the Chiefs in the last two years and they’re due for a win.

The Chiefs face the Chargers in week one and then don’t see them again until the very last game of the regular season. A lot can change during that time, and Philip Rivers is just so darn good against Kansas City (he’s 13-8 against them in his career and was 13-4 two seasons ago).

While San Diego has dropped off a lot recently, Rivers is still clutch. He has the ability to defeat the Chiefs all on his own, and I think his Bolts will manage to take one out of two from Kansas City.

In my game-by-game predictions, I said I thought that the Chargers would beat the Chiefs in the final game of the season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out swinging in week one and took home a W either.

The Chargers have gone 0-4 against the Chiefs in the last two years and they’re due for a win. They’re not a good team and that’s what makes this a perfect trap game. Plus, they have a chance to upset the Chiefs twice.
