Kansas City Chiefs: First Depth Chart Breakdown – Defense

LCB – Marcus Peters, Marcus Cooper, Keivarae Russell, Bryce Cheek, Malcolm Jackson
The Kansas City Chiefs finally give us a surprise on the defensive side of things as Marcus Cooper is currently the second man on the depth chart here ahead of third round pick Keivarae Russell. This could change, but Cooper is having a very strong camp.
Marcus Peters and Keivarae Russell are locks for this roster. The question here is Marcus Cooper. He has been getting looks all over the secondary, and the Chiefs may be making him the defensive back equivalent of a utility infielder in baseball. That could be an ideal role for him. Bryce Cheek and Malcolm Jenkins are not likely to make the roster at all.
