Ross Travis may be the biggest surprise of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp. They former basketball player has caught eyes all camp and it shows here as he jumps 2015 5th round pick James O’Shaughnessy. Travis Kelce and Demetrius Harris were expected to be at the top of the depth chart, but Travis could challenge Harris for that #2 spot.
Travis Kelce and Demetrius Harris seem like locks for the 53-man roster as both got new contracts over the summer. The real question comes over whether or not the Chiefs will keep three or four tight ends, and if it is only three will it be Ross Travis or James O’Shaughnessy. Shags is going to have to do something to get the attention of the coaching staff.
