Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Top 15 To Target In 2016
By Collin Bell
2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 8 – Delanie Walker
2015 Stats: 94 REC 1,088 YDS 6 TDS
Delanie Walker was one of Marcus Mariota‘s favorite targets in his rookie season last year, and should be again this season. Tennessee’s wide receivers are a huge question mark this season, and Walker will be a safety net for Mariota to get the ball to when nobody else is open.
Walker is a seasoned vet who has had a consistent career, but set his career high with six touchdowns last season. He will be a leader to the offensive unit as they improve and he should post numbers similar to what he put up last season.
Delanie Walker is another good tight end to pick up should the need arise, but if you end up drafting and starting him on a weekly basis, he should still make a solid contribution to your squad.
The only thing to be weary of with Walker is that if Mariota gets injured for a period of time like he did last year, then Walker’s production could go down quite a bit.
