2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 13 – Coby Fleener

2015 Stats: 54 REC 491 YDS 3 TDS

Coby Fleener is going into his first season with New Orleans after spending the first portion of his career in Indianapolis working with his college teammate, Andrew Luck.

Fleener struggled last season, dealing with Luck’s absence due to injury as well as his struggles when he was under center. He proved in 2014 however that he can be a solid tight end in the NFL, netting close to 800 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

The 27-year old will look to do that and more as he steps into the New Orleans Saints’ pass oriented offense. He’ll be their best option at tight end since they lost Jimmy Graham prior to last season.

If Fleener can put up numbers close to what Graham did during his time with the Saints, he’ll be more than effective as a fantasy tight end. He won’t be the first to go, but if you end up with Fleener on your roster, you probably won’t have much to worry about.
