2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 2 – Greg Olsen

2015 Stats: 77 REC 1,104 YDS 7 TDS

Greg Olsen is one of those tight ends who almost seems to get better with age. He set a career high in touchdowns and yards last season, and doesn’t look to slow down this year.

He’s great at getting open on broken plays when Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton extends the play and makes something happen; Olsen always seems to be open down the field for a big gain. That’s what makes him one of the best tight ends in the game.

The Panthers will get wide out Kelvin Benjamin back after he missed all of last season with an ACL tear, so that will take some of the pressure and focus off Olsen.

The veteran tight end should put up similar numbers to last season and could be as high as the second tight end taken in most drafts. If you’re looking to get production from the tight end position that few others in your league can, Olsen is a strong candidate for your roster.
