2016 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Number 7 – Julius Thomas

2015 Stats: 46 REC 455 YDS 5 TDS

Julius Thomas’ first season in Jacksonville was derailed due to a hand injury that sidelined him for the first four games and effected him throughout the season. Injuries may prove to be a concern for Thomas again this season, as he’s already suffered a sprained ankle in Jags’ training camp.

Julius Thomas is one of the Jaguars’ biggest offensive threats, and will play a huge role in their attempt to take the step forward to becoming an AFC playoff team. If he can stay healthy, he can put up some pretty big numbers on the field and for your fantasy team.

Thomas was a great fantasy football tight end option during his tenure with the Denver Broncos and he has the ability to become that same threat for the Jags. He’s most definitely worth taking in the early to mid rounds, but you should be cautious when selecting him for your team.

The Jaguars will be a much improved team this season, and Thomas will be one of the ones helping to lead the way.
