Practice number four of the Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp was rained out for the fans, but the team still conducted a full load moving inside the training facility for a pass-heavy practice session.

The Kansas City Chiefs took to the field for practice number four of Training Camp.  This is the second day on the field for returning veterans, and the first for running back Spencer Ware who made his way onto the field after dealing with an illness yesterday.  However, today’s activities, at least for the public eye, were cut short due to inclement weather.

Of course, the team will continue to practice today as the indoor facilities at St Joe’s are extraordinary and allow the coaches to see everything they need to.  This does limit the observations that can be made about the team’s activities for the day, and we become largely dependent on post-practice tweets and interviews.

As far as off the field things go, we are still basking in the Eric Fisher contract extension fallout, be that for the better or worse.  It is unlikely that the Chiefs will announce any news over the next few days that will trump that story line.

The Chiefs will get back onto the field tomorrow, weather permitting, and will work through Wednesday before getting Thursday off.  The season is edging closer and closer, with the Chiefs first preseason game coming on Saturday, August 13th at 3:30 pm against the Seattle Seahawks.
