Kansas City Chiefs Top Ten Players Who Need To Step Up – Number Six: Chris Conley

The 2016 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp will focus a lot on the battle for the #2 wide receiver spot.  With his athleticism, size, and speed the Chiefs really need Chris Conley to step up and take over this spot.  The team has finally gotten its #1 guy in Maclin, but now is the time to build a complete wide receiver corps.

Chris Conley has all of the physical tools required to be a legit outside threat at wide receiver.  On a few occasions in 2015, Chiefs fans were able to catch a glimpse of his potential as he and Alex Smith came very close to connecting on a number of deep passes.  If Conley can continue to refine his abilities, and work on his timing with Smith, he has the potential to be a big time threat.
