Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp Twitter – Number Six: Mitch Holthus “The Voice Of The Chiefs” @mitchholthus

He is “The Voice of the Chiefs” and one of the most revered local celebrities in the Kansas City Chiefs organization.  The eight time “Kansas Sportscaster of the Year” is well noted for his perfectly cadenced: “Touchdown Kans-Us-City” cry that you (hopefully) hear every week on you television or radio broadcast.

Mitch Holthus goes beyond the broadcast booth though.  He is an active correspondent who is always obliging to fans and tries to get out with the team to bring you inside looks.  Some team broadcasters are there for the paycheck and as a stepping stone, but Mitch Holthus really does love the Chiefs.

Keep an eye out for what Mitch is telling you.  Few people are as plugged in as he is, so you can get a better feeling for what the coaches and players think about certain situations as they come up.  He won’t bombard your Twitter feed, but he’ll give you just enough to know what’s going on.
