The Kansas City Chiefs have had one of the best defenses in recent seasons. They’re used to being one of the toughest to face, but who are some other tough defenses that they’ll see in 2016?

It’s certainly been a nice luxury for the Kansas City Chiefs over the past few years to have such a stout defense. Their defense was ranked as the seventh best in all of the NFL last year (at least according to ESPN) and they came through in the clutch.

With all of that said, the Chiefs have shown that a tough defense can really mess with their offense. Last year when they faced the Broncos the first time, the Chiefs turned the ball over five times. They looked lost the entire game, and the Broncos’ defense was a large part of that.

The Chiefs have that same capability with their smothering defense, but they did lose a crucial piece this offseason in Sean Smith. Smith took his talents to Oakland, whose defense will absolutely get a boost with him in the secondary.

So, who are the five toughest defenses that Kansas City will face in 2016? Let’s take a look.
