Toughest Wide Receiver in 2016 – Julio Jones

The KC Chiefs will face every team in the NFC South this year, and that includes the Atlanta Falcons, who have Julio Jones on their team.

The only scary factor on [the Falcons] is Julio Jones. He can literally win them games on his own, and it’s terrifying to think about.

Jones has been a staple in the Falcons’ offense since they traded quite a bit to get him in the 2011 NFL Draft. He has over 6,200 yards in five career seasons and has 34 total touchdowns to his name.

Jones had the best season of his career last year, grabbing 136 receptions for 1,871 yards, both career highs for the Alabama alum.

The Falcons as a team don’t scare me. I’ve been rooting against them for a decade now (I also double as a Saints fan, for those of you who don’t read my content much) and the Falcons are trending downwards. The only scary factor on their team is Julio Jones. He can literally win them games on his own, and it’s terrifying to think about.

The only time Jones has faced Kansas City during his career was in 2012. He was heading into his second season in the pros, and had a hey day at Arrowhead on the opening Sunday of the season.

Jones finished the day with six receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns en route to a 40-24 victory over Kansas City. If he can replicate that type of success this season, then it’ll more than likely result in a Chiefs loss.
