Toughest Running Back in 2016 – Doug Martin

The toughest running back that the Kansas City Chiefs will see in 2016 is Doug Martin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The two teams will square off in week 11 and the Bucs should be a much improved team this year.

Stopping Martin will be a huge key to the Chiefs pulling off a win against Tampa Bay in week 11.

Martin was a rookie the last time he played the Chiefs and rushed for 76 yards. He ended up having a decent season that year, rushing for over 1,400 yards.

While the Chiefs/Buccaneers game won’t fulfill a lot of needs for football fans, it does put two of the game’s best running backs on center stage against each other. Martin will be going into his fifth year and is looking to build his NFL resume. He’ll have a great chance to do so against the Chiefs, but the game will be played at Arrowhead late in the season.

Stopping Martin will be a huge key to the Chiefs pulling off a win against Tampa Bay in week 11. The Bucs have Jameis Winston heading into year two, and he can run as well, but not nearly in the way that Martin can.

If the Chiefs can figure out a way to keep Martin’s rushing yards down, they have a great shot to win in week 11.
