Jamaal Charles Top Games: Number Nine – 11/24/2013 Kansas City Chiefs Vs. San Diego Chargers: 152 Yards From and Two Touchdowns
The end results weren’t good for the team, but Charles had a great game. He had 115 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns while adding 42 receiving yards. The Chiefs lost the game to the Chargers 38-41 at home leaving a great game in the pile of forgotten games, almost. Just because the Chiefs lost doesn’t mean that some guys didn’t excel and Charles more than delivered on his part.
The 2013 season has a bit of the forgotten season. The Chiefs started out 9-0 then lost five of the last seven games finishing the season 11-5 and second in the AFC West two games behind the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs lost both games against the Broncos that year. The loss to the Chargers hurt the Chiefs chances of staying competitive for the AFC West title.
Fantasy football owners of Charles received 27 points for his fantastic play. So not everyone lost this time. Jamaal Charles paid off again for those lucky few to have owned him and started him against the Chargers.
