Free Agents Still Available – Number 1: Anquan Boldin

While a 35-year old wide receiver might not seem like the best signing, Anquan Boldin is an exception for sure. He’s proven that he can still play with the young studs and I think he’d be a great fit in this Chiefs offense.

Boldin would have the capabilities of competing for the number two receiver spot, and it’d be a lot of fun watching him and Maclin on offense together.

Boldin’s contract could be a little difficult though. I don’t see him signing just a one-year deal and it might not be the best idea to give a guy in his mid-30s more than a one-year deal due to potential injuries.

Adding a weapon like Anquan Boldin could be just what’s missing from the KC Chiefs offense this season. He’d add experience (13 years to be exact) and a veteran presence that could really help out the newer guys on the team.

While this likely would have occurred already if the Chiefs were at all interested, it’s still nice to dream about Boldin possibly donning red and white this season.
