Coming in at number nine on the countdown is Chad May, who spent time with the Wildcats in 1993 and 1994.
Chad May threw for 5,253 yards in just two seasons with K-State. He sits at number four on the all-time passing yards list.
May was with the team near the end of the first Bill Snyder era, and led the Cats to a record of 9-2-1 in 1993 and 9-3 in 1994. The 1993 season ended with a win in the Copper Bowl and the 1994 season ended with a loss in the Aloha Bowl.
Chad May threw for 5,253 yards in just two seasons with K-State. He sits at number four on the all-time passing yards list. May also threw for 34 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
He was a fourth-round pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings but only spent one year with the team. He went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals in 1996 before heading over to the World’s League of American Football and Arena Football before hanging up the cleats in 2001.
May didn’t have a great professional career, but he sits in the top ten for the Kansas State Wildcats all-time.
