Alex Smith

An underrated but still good player, is quarterback Alex Smith. Recently, NFL.com ranked Smith 81 on the top 100 players list. Pretty high praise from NFL.com. Here’s a video explaining why he’s so good.

One of the best things about Smith is he rarely throws interceptions. He threw seven interceptions last season while tossing 20 touchdowns.

Smith can run. Last season, he racked up 498 rushing yards acting like another running back. His ability to extend plays with his feet and rush for positive yards when the play breaks down is a huge asset.

The most important thing a quarterback does is throw the football. Through 16 games last season, Smith threw for 3486 passing yards, 20 touchdowns with a completion rate of 65.3 percent.
