Hermann Missouri Wineries Number Four: Hermannoff

This hometown favorite winery is easy to find and offers a long, rich history of winemaking. They have about a dozen wines to offer, and several are perfect guest wines.

A guest wine is something you can safely serve when you have people over that do not have a developed taste for wine yet. Hermannoff’s off-dry White Lady of Starkenburg is a perfect choice for this scenario. This versatile, fruity riesling can be paired with just about anything.

They also featured a sweet white called Germantown. This grapey offering may be too sweet for those who favor dry wines, but for most inexperienced wine drinkers, this too is a safe bet.

Hermanoff also features a terrific Chambourcin and a Vidal Blanc. The former is a favorite with spaghetti!

This winery is very easy to find as it is on East First Street (Highway 100). It also features a restaurant and a bed and breakfast complex with rooms and cottages. These are very cozy and great for that special weekend getaway.

"Hours of Operation: 10-5 Mon-Sat 11-5 Sun"

Hermannoff is just another one of the terrific wineries on the wine trail!
