Hermann Missouri Wineries Number Six: Stone Hill

Stone Hill may be the most famous of the Hermann wineries. It has stores on I-70 and in Branson that give it some high visibility. It is also the oldest, established in 1847.

This venerable winery features Norton and Concord grapes, but it is their Chambourcin, Traminette, Vignoles, and their Steinberg Red and White wines that stand out on the large menu. For the sports fans out there, Stone Hill also has a citrusy Kansas City Royals Club Series white wine.

Stone Hill has one of the largest gift shops you will find, and a fantastic tour of the historic property. Take the time to go on this short tour; you will be glad you did!

This is an important stop on the wine trail and will be open for tasting during normal business hours.

Stone Hill has large, really versatile wine list from which it will be impossible not to find something suitable for your palate.
