KC Life: Top Ten Hermann Missouri Wineries
By Joel Wagler
Hermann Missouri Wineries Number Two: Robller
Robller Vineyard is not in Hermann but it is on the wine trial and therefore is on this list. It is about a 15-minute drive east on Highway 100 (if you don’t stop at any of the other wineries along the way), but is more than worth your time.
Their list consists of several very strong offerings. Like some other wineries in the area, their Chambourcin and Norton selections are laced with dark fruit flavors. Their Villa Rouge is a great guest wine as well.
Their white selections is where Robller really excel, though. Try their Seyval, Traminette, Vidal Blanc, and Vignoles wines as these all stand out.
Robller also features one of the more unique wines on the wine trail. When paired with peanut butter, their White Steuben really pops. You have to try it to believe it!
"Open Daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Sundays Noon – 5:30 p.m. Closed some Holidays"
Their versatile and flavorful menu makes Robller one of the best wineries in the area, and a can’t miss. Don’t let the longer drive send you off course.
Trek over to New Haven for one of the better establishments on the Hermann wine trail.
