F. . WR. West Alabama. TYREEK HILL

Shortly after a great pick by the Kansas City Chiefs, they made their worst pick of the draft in Tyreek Hill of West Alabama. Hill spent some time at Oklahoma State as a running back before being kicked off the team due to choking his pregnant girlfriend.

There were tons of other wide receivers available at this point in time (Rashard Higgins, for one) who didn’t put their hands on women.

Hill unfortunately received a second chance at West Alabama and spent time as a wide receiver there. He was one of the speedier guys in this year’s draft class, but I really don’t care about any of that. Domestic violence is no joke and anyone who is guilty of it (which Hill was) should not get a chance to play in the NFL.

This pick gets an F because I just don’t see the need to bring on a scumbag like this when he wasn’t even projected to be drafted at all. There were tons of other wide receivers available at this point in time (Rashard Higgins, for one) who didn’t put their hands on women.

Supposedly, John Dorsey spoke with Clark Hunt about drafting Hill before he did so, but this pick has not gone over well with the fans. When I was listening to 610 shortly after the pick, fans were calling in saying that they weren’t going to renew their season tickets. That’s pretty serious and hopefully the Chiefs decide to make sure guys on the team know that domestic violence is not acceptable.

Overall, this was a complete worthless pick and I honestly hope this guy doesn’t make the team’s final roster.
