C. . WR. Florida. DEMARCUS ROBINSON

The Kansas City Chiefs finally took a wide receiver in the fourth round, but there were better options on the board at the position for sure, and ones that caused less problems during their college years.

This gets an average grade because wide receiver was a position of need, and Robinson could eventually come in and ball for the red and white.

Demarcus Robinson was Florida’s leading receiver in 2014 and 2015, but the most notable thing about him is a negative one. Robinson was suspended four times while at Florida, which is never something you want on your scouting report.

The only thing I can really say in defense of that is that Marcus Peters also had some problems while he attended Washington, and we saw how well he did with the Chiefs in 2015. Sometimes all it takes is a good coach to help a guy turn things around, and maybe that’ll be the case for Robinson in Kansas City.

I would have liked to have given this pick a higher grade, but the suspensions worry me a bit. One suspension isn’t good, two is problematic, and anymore than that is a huge red flag in my opinion.

This gets an average grade because wide receiver was a position of need, and Robinson could eventually come in and ball for the red and white. We’ll just have to give him a chance, I guess.
