Best Seventh Round Draft Picks of All-Time – Number 8: Jarrad Page (Chiefs safety from 2006-2009)

In the 2006 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Jarrad Page with the 228th overall pick. At the time, Page was likely just an extra depth piece on the roster.

Page ended up being way more than that in Kansas City though. He spent four years in the Chiefs organization and was a full-time starter for two of those seasons (2007 and 2008).

Page had 155 tackles, 29 defended passes, and ten interceptions. He started 39 games and played in 53 total over the span of four years, which is pretty darn good for a seventh-round pick.

After the 2009 season, Page moved onto the New England Patriots and split time between them and the Vikings in 2010. He ended his career in 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The fact that the KC Chiefs got four decent seasons out of Page (two of them in which he was a starter), I’d say he was a pretty darn good seventh-round draft choice.
