Best Seventh Round Draft Picks of All-Time – Number 10: Ken Kremer (Chiefs defensive end from 1979-1984)

In the 1979 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Ken Kremer out of Ball State. Kremer went on to play for six seasons in the NFL (all for the Chiefs) and makes this list at number ten.

Kremer was never a full-time starter for the Chiefs, but he managed to play in all 16 games of the season four out of six seasons. He played in 87 games total over the span of six years and started 23 of them. Not bad for a seventh-rounder.

Sacks weren’t an official NFL stat for the beginning of Kremer’s NFL career, but Pro Football Reference says he had five and a half sacks over his last three seasons.

While Ken Kremer isn’t a big name by any means, he managed to play for six years in the NFL as a seventh-round pick. Not only that, but he was with the same team for that entire time, which is extremely difficult to do.
