3) The Chiefs have a favorable early season schedule

Unlike last year, where the KC Chiefs faced three playoff teams from the 2014 season in the first four weeks, the Chiefs have things a bit easier this season. They’ll only be squaring off against two playoff teams in the first four weeks, but should be the favorites in three of those games.

Getting to host a true home opener is always a joy, and the Chiefs will host the worst team in the AFC West to open up the season. They’ll then travel to Houston, who they owned last year in both football and baseball, and then will host the Jets for a late Sunday game.

The first loss of the season for Kansas City (barring any major setbacks like injuries, of course) will likely come in week four in Pittsburgh. That’s the team’s first true test I feel like, and it starts to get a little more difficult after that.

If the Chiefs can win three of their first four games, they’ll be in good shape for the season.
