2) There are no Monday Night Football games for the Chiefs

Despite the three primetime games for Kansas City, none of them land on Monday night. Now, I’ll be the first to admit that the Monday night games are crappy half the time, but the Chiefs not getting a single game on ESPN is a bit surprising.

It’s even worse when you look at the schedule and realize that the game ESPN is hyping up the most is the “Brock Bowl” between the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos. Most people could honestly care less about Brock Osweiler’s return to Denver, but it’s being highlighted for the MNF slate.

The Chiefs could have had a handful of great games been televised on ESPN, such as their week three match-up against the Jets. If the NFL didn’t want to give them another home primetime game, their week ten road trip to Carolina would have been a nice Monday night game.

Instead, however, ESPN picked some pretty bad games. There’s one week where it’ll be the Seahawks against the Bills and another where it’s the Eagles against the Bears. Also, how many times do we need to see the Cowboys and Giants in primetime?
