KC Chiefs: Five Thoughts On 2016 Regular Season Schedule

The KC Chiefs’ 2016 regular season schedule was released on Thursday evening. The Chiefs wound up with a pretty nice schedule and it should set them up for a nice season.

The Kansas City Chiefs went 11-5 last year and won their first playoff game in over two decades. This year, the team hopes to build on their 2015 campaign and that starts with their regular season schedule.

Here is what Kansas City’s schedule looks like in 2016 (the numbers indicate which week of the season it is):

  1. September 11 – San Diego Chargers (12 PM, CBS)
  2. September 18 – at Houston Texans (12 PM, CBS)
  3. September 25 – New York Jets (3:25 PM, CBS)
  4. October 2 – at Pittsburgh Steelers (7:30 PM, NBC)
  5. BYE WEEK
  6. October 16 – at Oakland Raiders (3:05 PM, CBS)
  7. October 23 – New Orleans Saints (12 PM, FOX)
  8. October 30 – at Indianapolis Colts (12 PM, CBS)
  9. November 6 – Jacksonville Jaguars (12 PM, CBS)
  10. November 13 – at Carolina Panthers (12 PM, CBS)
  11. November 20 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12 PM, FOX)
  12. November 27 – at Denver Broncos (3:25, CBS)
  13. December 4 – at Atlanta Falcons (12 PM, CBS)
  14. December 8 – Oakland Raiders (7:25, NFL Network)
  15. December 18 – Tennessee Titans (12 PM, CBS)
  16. December 25 – Denver Broncos (7:30, NBC)
