The KC Royals are off to a hot start with two come from behind wins and a four and one record entering the second week of play. How did their minor league system fair?

The KC Royals are going to eventually rely on some of their minor league players to contribute to what has now become a winning culture.

Eventually, the best of these young players will get promoted and find themselves playing for the KC Royals.

While the Royals themselves used to be looked upon as a minor league club playing at the Major League level, these players will have some high expectations when they head to Kansas City.

If everything goes right for the Royals this year, they wont have to rely on these players just yet, but having the chance to mature in the minor leagues isn’t a bad thing.

At that level, they’ll be able to get everyday reps and hone their skills. Most of them still have plenty of time to have a fruitful Major League career also.

Let’s take a look at the first week of action and see how the minor league clubs fared.
