12th Pick: Laquon Treadwell | Wide Receiver

The asking prices get more and more reasonable as this list progresses.

Like Bosa, their have been hints that Laquon Treadwell could fall further in the draft than number 12.

Regardless, the Oakland Raiders sit at number 14, and, as a result, the KC Chiefs cannot put themselves in a position where the Raiders could use their pick against them.

Acquiring the rights to Treadwell would only require a single first round pick, but two second rounders is a tough for the KC Chiefs to give up right now.

  • Unfortunately, the problem yet again is that the NFL unjustly seized the KC Chiefs third round pick.

The biggest obstacle to overcome in trading for Treadwell is that this year the KC Chiefs will be forced to wait until the fourth round to draft another player.

Much like Bosa, Treadwell’s position is not ideal in this scenario.

Trading away this year’s first and second round picks for Treadwell would force the KC Chiefs to address the rest of their roster needs in the late rounds of the draft.

There are definitely arguments for adding a talent advantage rather than talent to meet average output.

If the KC Chiefs were to do this, their passing offense would surely have to be more diversified than last season.

The value required to be given up for Treadwell cannot go to waste, and, as a result, the KC Chiefs must evaluate whether their coaching staff can take full advantage of, not only Treadwell’s skill set, but the advantages associated with a dual receiver threats.

This one is a tough call, and depends largely on what sort of risks the KC Chiefs are comfortable with taking.

This trade appears to the be the KC Chiefs best option so far, but there is still one more trade to consider.
