Kansas City Chiefs Add Depth In 2016 Mock Draft
By Scott Dillon
Round 7 – Pick 28: Malcolm Mitchell, Wide Receiver (Georgia)
Again, the Chiefs have a slew of options at the wide receiver position, but creating a lot of depth at this position isn’t a bad thing. Eventually, one or two players may be able to separate themselves from the heard.
Malcolm Mitchell would give the Chiefs their second wide receiver from the University of Georgia in a second straight year and he could prove to be a valuable addition.
Last season, his senior season at Georgia, Mitchell caught 58 passes for 865 yards to go along with five touchdowns.

NFL.com had this to say about the wide receiver from Georgia:
"Mitchell was hampered by injuries in the past and inconsistent quarterback play this year, but there is no doubting his ball skills and smoothness as a route runner. His speed is just average and he doesn’t get as much separation as teams like underneath, but he’s tough, can make contested catches and has the type of personal and football character that will have scouts pulling for him in their draft rooms. Mitchell will be a 24-year-old rookie."
He’s got a lot going for him in the character department also. He can compliment his speed with a good head on his shoulders. It’s appealing to get players that can come into camp as rookies and be leaders from the outset.
