Kansas City Chiefs Add Depth In 2016 Mock Draft
By Scott Dillon
The Kansas City Chiefs have added some depth pieces already this off-season. Will they look to add more in the draft?
For this edition of the KC Chiefs mock draft they looked to add depth in each round. The Chiefs are in a position heading into this draft that doesn’t see them with a lot of holes to fill.
This mock draft does take into consideration the lost third-round pick, which still gives the Chiefs six picks in this years draft.
I used Fanspeak’s On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator and used the big board from our friends over at Arrowhead Addict.
The KC Chiefs have seven total picks this year. The two picks in the fifth-round will help compensate the loss of the third-round pick but the value options aren’t nearly as promising at that stage.
The Chiefs ended this mock drafting three players on defense and four on offense. While not all of these players address an immediate position of need, they do help fill holes created by injuries and most would likely be able to step in and produce from day one.
