  • Frustration appeared to be a motive when the KC Chiefs signed a multitude of outside linebackers this offseason.

    Obviously, it was in direct response to the Houston injury, but it reveals the organization’s perception of Ford.

    As Ford enters his third year, the front office either does not trust him to step into Houston’s position or they do not trust his dedication to earning the starting job.

    Ford needed to up his game before the Houston injury and subsequent outside linebacker signings.

    Now, for the sake of the KC Chiefs pass rush and his closing window of opportunity, Ford must really step it up to surpass the herd of talent at outside linebacker.
