Chiefs | Themselves: Cheesy cliché is fairly accurate

Based on the opponents the KC Chiefs are slated to face off against, their schedule seems pretty reasonable.

At this point in time, the KC Chiefs only play two teams next season who can be considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders in the Panthers and the Steelers.

Outside of these teams, the AFC West may as well be served on a silver platter, and the AFC South does not inspire any fear in me beyond the Texans who are not without problems.

The same can be said about the NFC South beyond the Panthers. Admittedly, there are scenarios where the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, or the Atlanta Falcons could maybe give the KC Chiefs a run for their money.

Either way as far as schedules go, the KC Chiefs is quite favorable. In addition, the KC Chiefs may get to play in prime time upwards of five or more times despite their mediocre strength of schedule.

Because of this, the KC Chiefs are really the only team that can stand between them and the playoffs. The talent is there and the schedule isn’t bad, and even Houston may come back next season.

Hopefully the KC Chiefs can get Houston back in time for at least one of their two hardest games against the Steelers and Panthers.

Seeing Houston sack both Roethlisberger and Newton would be equally joyful signs that the KC Chiefs defense has the chance to be the best in the NFL.

Do you think all of these games will be prime time games next season? Which other KC Chiefs games in 2016 do you believe could be scheduled for prime time?
