KC Chiefs: Five Potential Prime Time Games in 2016

Chiefs | Raiders: Sean Smith intensifies heated rivalry
This game will be interesting for a number of reasons.
Rivalry games are usually prime candidates for prime time, and both the KC Chiefs and Oakland Raiders look to be legitimate teams next season.
Among the Raiders multiple roster additions this offseason, one name hit especially close to Kansas City.

After the March 9th deadline to re-sign free agents, KC Chiefs GM John Dorsey made a multitude of fantastic roster moves.
Unfortunately, one transaction Dorsey could not execute will prove to be quite damaging next season.
Sean Smith, signed a contract with an AFC West rival of the KC Chiefs in the Raiders, and, as a result, left a major talent void at the cornerback position.
The KC Chiefs will most likely address this position later this offseason, but I’m personally not getting my hopes to high that another cornerback will be able to come in and replace Smith completely.
Smith’s departure swings quite an advantage towards the Raiders whose receiving corps is stocked with productive players.
The KC Chiefs will feel the loss of Smith when trying to guard receivers like Amari Cooper, and through the sheer fact he’ll be on the field making things difficult for Jeremy Maclin.
Because the Raiders will be good next year, the Raiders and Chiefs are rivals, and the Raiders signed the KC Chiefs best cornerback, I like the chances of this game being scheduled for prime time.
The story lines at play and the quality of each team may be too much for the NFL to pass up.
