Seventh: Joe Buck and Ryan Lefebvre – World Series Victory

Alright, sooner or later Joe Buck was going to come up. This isn’t the last time he’s going to be in this list either.

Would it satisfy anyone to know that pretty much every team feels like Joe Buck is biased against them? Before everyone sets out to string me up for putting Joe Buck in any kind of ‘top ten’ list, I have a theory about why he’s so reviled.

Similar to listening to Matt Vasgersian going crazy over something good that the other team does, Joe Buck works in a similar fashion.

When something great happens for your team, you’re likely cheering and celebrating to the point where you don’t hear the commentary. When something bad happens to your team, it’s natural to get silent (ask any Mets’ fans who were at games four and five). What it means is you’re more likely to hear only the calls in favor of the other team.

I’m not saying he wasn’t biased in 2014, but he was much better in 2015.

"“Inside Corner! The Royals…2015 World Champions” – Joe Buck"

Winning heals all things and it should help heal the bad blood with Joe Buck also. It’s pretty hard to find fault with that call right there.

"“Davis comes to the plate. Strike three called! It’s over! They’ve done it! The Royals are World Series Champions. The World Champion Kansas City Royals.” – Ryan Lefebvre"

It’s pretty hard not to get any call that calls the Royals “World Series Champions” in the list. While it was an exciting moment, it’s fair to say that most Royals’ fans will remember the sounds of those around them following that called third strike.
